Pod’s Got Genius wasn’t just a simple contest, but Italy’s first true talent show entirely dedicated to podcasters, an innovative format that gave visibility to a medium that continues to expand in our country.
How My Participation in Pod’s Got Genius Began
When I learned about the opportunity to participate in Pod’s Got Genius, I didn’t hesitate to apply. The selection was rigorous: among numerous aspirants, only twelve podcasters were chosen to undertake this competitive journey. Being selected for the talent show was already an important recognition of my work in the podcast world, a sector that I deeply love and firmly believe in.
The structure of Pod’s Got Genius was as simple as it was stimulating: each month, we contestants were called to produce a podcast episode on assigned themes, exploring different genres and sound styles each time. This approach made Pod’s Got Genius not just a competition, but a true creative laboratory in which to test ourselves.
The Monthly Challenges of Pod’s Got Genius Enriched My Approach to Podcasting
Each month, facing a new challenge at Pod’s Got Genius meant stepping out of my comfort zone. Sometimes we had to tackle narrative formats, other times interviews or audio documentaries. This continuous experimentation imposed by the talent show allowed me to discover potential I didn’t know I had.
The value of Pod’s Got Genius wasn’t just in the competition itself, but in the growth opportunity it represented. Thanks to this talent show, I was able to refine podcast writing techniques, improve my audio editing skills, and develop a more professional approach to creating sound content.

Meeting eleven other talented Italian podcasters, each with their own style and vision, enormously enriched my perspective on the medium. Additionally, it allowed me to connect with established professionals in the sector, judges, and mentors who shared their experience and know-how with us. This aspect of Pod’s Got Genius represented an invaluable learning opportunity for someone who, like me, firmly believes in the communicative power of podcasting.
My Elimination and What I Gained from the Journey
Although I didn’t make it to the finale, with the April nomination I was eliminated from Pod’s Got Genius. However, this experience gave me much more than a victory could have offered. Through Pod’s Got Genius, I understood “in every fiber of my body” that creating audio and video content is my authentic passion.
The journey made me grow not only as a podcaster but also as a communication professional. I learned to manage deadlines, work under pressure, and receive constructive feedback, all skills that go well beyond simply creating a podcast.
New Projects and Ambitions in the Podcast World
I am deeply honored by the path traveled during Pod’s Got Genius and sincerely happy to have been chosen and valued among Italian podcasters. A special thanks goes to Marcello Forcina who selected me among the twelve talents of Pod’s Got Genius, believing in my abilities and potential.

Pod’s Got Genius non è stato un semplice contest, ma il primo vero talent show dedicato interamente ai podcaster in Italia, un format innovativo che ha dato visibilità a un medium in continua espansione nel nostro paese.
Com’è nata la mia partecipazione a Pod’s Got Genius
Quando ho saputo dell’opportunità di partecipare a Pod’s Got Genius, non ho esitato a candidarmi. La selezione è stata rigorosa: tra numerosi aspiranti, solo dodici podcaster sono stati scelti per intraprendere questo percorso competitivo. Essere stata selezionata per il talent ha rappresentato già di per sé un importante riconoscimento del mio lavoro nel mondo del podcast, un settore che amo profondamente e in cui credo fermamente.
La struttura di Pod’s Got Genius era tanto semplice quanto stimolante: ogni mese, noi concorrenti eravamo chiamati a produrre una puntata di podcast su temi assegnati, esplorando di volta in volta generi e stili sonori diversi. Questo approccio ha reso Pod’s Got Genius non solo una competizione, ma un vero laboratorio creativo in cui mettersi alla prova.
Le sfide mensili di Pod’s Got Genius hanno arricchito il mio approccio al podcast
Ogni mese, affrontare una nuova sfida di Pod’s Got Genius significava uscire dalla mia zona di comfort. A volte dovevamo cimentarci con formati narrativi, altre volte con interviste o documentari audio. Questa continua sperimentazione imposta dal talent mi ha permesso di scoprire potenzialità che non sapevo di avere.

Grazie a questo talent, ho potuto affinare tecniche di scrittura per il podcast, migliorare la mia capacità di editing audio e sviluppare un approccio più professionale alla creazione di contenuti sonori.

Uno dei benefici più significativi della mia partecipazione a Pod’s Got Genius è stato senza dubbio il networking. Conoscere altri undici talentuosi podcaster italiani, ognuno con il proprio stile e la propria visione, ha arricchito enormemente la mia prospettiva sul medium. Le discussioni, i confronti e persino la competizione all’interno del talent hanno creato legami professionali che continueranno ben oltre la fine del programma.
Inoltre, mi ha permesso di entrare in contatto con professionisti affermati del settore, giudici e mentori che hanno condiviso con noi la loro esperienza e il loro know-how. Questo aspetto di Pod’s Got Genius ha rappresentato un’opportunità di apprendimento inestimabile per chi, come me, crede fermamente nel potere comunicativo del podcast.
La mia eliminazione e ciò che ho guadagnato dal percorso
Sebbene non sia arrivata in finale, con la nomination di aprile sono stata eliminata da Pod’s Got Genius. Tuttavia, questa esperienza mi ha dato molto più di quanto una vittoria avrebbe potuto offrirmi. Attraverso Pod’s Got Genius ho compreso “in ogni fibra del mio corpo” che creare contenuti audio e video è una mia autentica passione.
Il percorso mi ha fatto crescere non solo come podcaster, ma anche come professionista della comunicazione. Ho imparato a gestire le scadenze, a lavorare sotto pressione e a ricevere feedback costruttivi, tutte competenze che vanno ben oltre la semplice creazione di un podcast.
Nuovi progetti e ambizioni nel mondo del podcast
Sono profondamente onorata della strada percorsa durante Pod’s Got Genius e sinceramente felice di essere stata scelta e valorizzata tra i podcaster italiani.
