I’m happy to share that I was a guest on the “Sorriso Sospeso” podcast hosted by Maria Cangiano (Fizza) in an episode dedicated to the theme of parenting and work.
The episode, titled “Parenting and work. With mother of four and mental coach Elisabetta Pesenti,” gave me the opportunity to share both my personal and professional experience, sharing my journey as a mother of four children, certified coach, and podcaster.
During our conversation, I talked about my podcast “Career Moms” and told Fizza how we met at the Podcast House in April, participating together in the Podstar award for the best female podcast with social and cultural impact. It was nice to remember how, despite neither of us winning, that experience created a special bond among us contestants.
I shared my work as a mental coach and the project closest to my heart: La Luna del Grano Srl, the innovative startup and benefit corporation I co-founded, dedicated to offering companies packages of services, training, and consulting to support maternity and paternity in the workplace.
We discussed in depth how becoming parents inevitably impacts our lives, especially for women, and the challenges this brings in the workplace. I was able to explain how, through La Luna del Grano, I am trying to raise awareness among companies on parenting issues, bringing real cultural change within organizations.
I am grateful to Fizza for giving me this platform to share my passion for supporting families and companies in creating a more inclusive work environment that respects parenting needs.
